Last week at The Fort in Global City, Taguig, Filipino executives, bloggers and search engine marketing experts gathered to finally hear Google’s plans for the Philippines. A former executive at Directory Philippines Corporation, Aileen Apolo said Google is finally recruiting more Filipino website owners, bloggers, and marketers to join its advertising programs.

Since advertising expenditure is increasingly moving to the web, Aileen Apolo said the search engine company is recruiting Filipinos to become Google Advertising Professionals or GAP. To become a GAP, Google will require people to apply and take an exam. Apolo also said Google was looking for resellers of its advertisements.

Patuloy ang pagsulong ng bagyong Paeng at tinatayang may lakas na hangin umaabot humigit kumulang 195 kilometers per hour (kph) simula sa gitna, sa paghagupit ng napakabilis na umaabot ng 230 kph ayon sa mga taga Pag-Asa.

Tinataya na ang bagyong Paeng ay darating sa kapatagan ng Isabela province ngayong linggong gabi patungo sa gitnang bahagi ng Luzon, ang bagyo ay magmumula sa South China Sea.

Itinaas na ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration o (PAGASA) ang public storm warning sa signal number 4 sa mga bayan ng Isabela, southern Cagayan, Quirino and northern Aurora.

Ang bagyong “Paeng” ay sinasabing mas malakas pa kesa sa bagyong Milenyo, ito ay may tinatayang bilis ng hangin na umaabot ng 185 kph.
