Nanalo nanaman ang favorite na American Idol ko na si Carrie Underwood, nakuha nya ang award na Female vocalist of the Year at ang Horizon award (Best New Artist). Talagang napakagaling nya sana ituloy angsulong ng kanyang career. Nakasama ni Carrie Underwood sa pagtanggap ng kanyang trophy ang kaibigan na finalist rin ng American idol na si Anthony Fedorov. Naging katapat nya ang mga sikat na country music singers na sina Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson, and Faith Hill. Marami ang nagulat sa reaction ni Faith Hill ng sambitin ang pangalan ng nanalo, kitang kita ang pag ka dismaya nya ng mabanggit ang pangalan ni Carrie Underwood bilang Female Vocalist of the Year. Marami ang nakakita sa pangit na reaction na ipinakita ni Faith Hill, marami rin nakakaalam na bago pa man si Carrie Underwood napasali sa American Idol, isa na syang taga hanga ng sikat na si Faith Hill.

Sana ituloy angsulong ng Charter Change! Maraming mamamayan ang hindi alam kung ano nga ba ang Charter Change…Lalo na ang mga taong nasusulsulan ng mga corrupt na opisyal! Napakaraming bayaran dito sa Pilipinas, binabayaran upang hadlangan ang pagtuloy ng sulong ng charter change.

The most important reason for amending the constitution is that it is the best way to respond to widespread dissatisfaction with our politics. Our political system is the same as that designed by the American colonial government and Quezon seventy years ago. It is not anymore capable of responding to the needs of the Philippines of the 21st century.

We are unhappy with the caliber of our politicians. But it is not enough to say we should replace them. With few exceptions, the system continuously produces corrupt and incompetent politicians. The best way to get better politicians is to change the whole system of representation starting with electoral system.

Some leaders of peoples organizations oppose constitutional reform because they are afraid that nationalist provisions on the economy and the ban on foreign military bases will be removed. But as long as we have the same politicians, they will continue to find ways to get around these provisions. We should defend these provisions. But we should also change the political system so we can have the leaders we want, - leaders who will implement the constitution’s nationalist provisions instead of circumventing them. This can only be done by supporting constitutional reform.

Among the substantive proposals are reforms on : executive-legislative relations – the form of government, central-local relations, and the electoral system.

Dapat ng ituloy angsulong ng Charter Change!

Marami na ang nakakagat ng mga walang tali o walang may ari na mga asong pakalat kalat sa lansangan. Libo libong mga bata ang nakakagat ng mga asong gala taon-taon. Bagamat maliit na porsyento lang ang namamatay sa rabbies na nakakagat ng mga asong gala, dapat pa rin itong sugpuin. Ituloy dapat angsulong sa paghuli ng mga asong gala sa buong Pilipinas.

Yahoo took its quest for online video-sharing popularity to Europe on Wednesday, launching local Yahoo Video websites in France, Spain, Germany and Italy. The English-language version of Yahoo Video was launched May 31 and more than half the users were from outside the United States, particularly Britain, Australia and New Zealand.

Each website was customized to the individual country’s language, culture and trends. Yahoo’s tailoring of a social networking video-sharing service complete with editing tools for creating clips came in the wake of Google’s purchase of video website YouTube for 1.65 billion dollars in stock. At the time of the YouTube purchase, Google’s founders and chief executive predicted video sharing and streaming would be driving forces in the evolution of the Internet.
